I devoured some history videos on the French revolution, Karl Marx, the industrial revolution, Charles Dickens. Dickens books are not my favorite, I realized. I just do not see the point of reading about depressed people. The style seems to be very archaic so I have hard time to read it and I may misuse the style. If people are reading this kind of books in literature class without reading any contemporary writing, then they will not be able to use English since these are practically useless for beginners.
In the French revolution, the printed press played big roles and if you dig into details, historical and current events surprisingly shared common features. Also weather played key roles as well. So in coming years, if many things come accidentally together, then large social change might arise in developing countries. I think revolution might be essential part of social evolution in some society. Twitter and some other media might play big roles. In a sense twitter is fastest media to spread words among people.
But, any media will not bring any new ideas and advantages unless users already know baseline professional skills. Technologies amplify the potential but will not solve the problems by themselves.
